If a plan for safer, modern city is planned and means that you need to give away your building in return of a compensation by flats or money. would you give away your land or building?
here is a short video on a 500 MW solar power plant being developed in the USA. obviously the technology is very large and this plant must be built on 5 sq miles of land - a luxury that not all countries have...and even the USA may not have in 50 years - but this is technology that we should work on improving as it harnesses a reusable power not on our physical planet.
